XFM-50 series

The XFM-50 series is available in two rack sizes, the 1RU rack accepts 2 modules with a maximum of 40Watts of total power consumption. The 3RU rack can be equipped with up to 12 modules and is designed to dissipate a maximum of 120Watts.

Both racks provide dual, redundant power supply with separate connectors.

The control system of the XFM-50 series is based on an open IP protocol and compatible with the existing Video International/XForm Systems software environment.

For the design of the modules, the latest programmable hardware technology is used. This gives the outstanding opportunity to cover a broad range of different functionalities with only a few physically different modules.

The XFM-50 series shares the proven signal processing tool box of Video International/XForm Systems. This guarantees the same product quality that our customers know from the box level machines.

One of the first members of the XFM-50 family is a digital processing module, supporting single and dual channel configurations.

The following functions are available:

- SD Standards conversion

- HD/SD up/down/cross conversion (3D support)

- HD/SD frame sync. (3D support)

- HD color correction (3D support)

- SD frame sync. 

As an example, with dual channel modules, up to four independent channels of SD standards conversion with SDI interfacing and 16ch. of embedded audio each fit into the 1 RU chassis.
